VOYCE (Voices of Youth for Christian Education) is a group of students that work collaboratively with staff to tackle some of the issues that face the school. They work to write school policy, play a role in determining school strategies and are part of the teams that interview potential new teachers. Students in VOYCE come from all grades and play an active leadership role in the day to day operation of the school. They learn to work on teams and quickly come to realize that the issues facing a school community are rarely simple and generally require the ability to listen to the views of many before making decisions.
VOYCE meets regularly with the Principal and stays in touch with the student body about the issues that they discuss, keeping confidentiality when required. Students on VOYCE must have a passion for leadership and should be in consultation with adminstration about how to get involved. This is a leadership/service opportunity for students.
