*ALL GTP work must be handed in to the Counselling Center (Fish Bowl) by the end of Semester 1 of your Grad year! STUDENTS who do NOT complete the GTP components will NOT GRADUATE
G.T.P. Components – each of the following are required:

DPA (Daily Physical Activity Charts) Grade 9 – 12
- All students must submit a form (see sidebar).
150 minutes / week of vigorous physical activity must be documented on a weekly basis – DO NOTcollect hours & find the average. Forms MUST be signed by a authorized/supervising adult. Students taking PE will use the link provided at the top of the form to submit their DPA online. |

College / Career / Job Training seminars - AT LEAST 2 are required (you will be asked to show specific evidence of your attendance if it isn’t a school coordinated event) - Education & Career Fair at Tradex (required for all grade 11’s) - Christian College Tour @ ACS (required for all grade 11’s) - PSIBC – Post Secondary Institutions of BC – (Fall 2011) - College / University / Trade School Visit Days - Canadian College Tour |

Graduation Transitions Report - Students are expected to prepare an “essay” which is the core assignment for GTP – it must be word processed but can take any format which presents the required information – paragraphs, essay format, power point, chart… |

Volunteer and/or Work Experience - Every grad in the province is required to do at least 30 hours of volunteer and/or paid work experience as a part of their GTP - Paid/Volunteer work experience must be charted on the forms provided by ACS and signed by an authorizing / supervising adult
- Students in the Secondary School Apprenticeship Program will meet this requirement by completing their paperwork & supervisor evaluations for their specific apprenticeship |
