TIME FOR GRAD PICTURES!!!CONGRATULATIONS! This is your grad portrait session ... and here is a little information to help you to help us to make it perfect!First of all, please accept that Paramount Portraits cares about your pictures and we'll do everything we can to work with you to help make your important grad portraits something you and your family will cherish for many years to come! GETTING READY FOR YOUR SITTING
2. The cap & gown poses will be done first. Each grad will receive a number of poses wearing the traditional black gown and selected poses with the mortar board. 3. If you have chosen the cap & gown and casual session, the casuals will be photographed next. 4. If you wear glasses, please remove the lenses or ask your eyewear provider for a pair of frames without lenses. This will ensure clear clean eyes with no lens interference. 5. With the casual sitting you may have one of your 4 casual poses done with one other person if you choose. No extra charge. 6. GUYS: Remember to bring a dress shirt and a favourite tie. GIRLS: Bring along a white blouse and/or some jewelry (pearls, etc.) to help dress-up a bare neckline for your cap and gown poses. 7. Regardless of when you have your sitting, we will have ALL proofs ready at the same time! These will be individually packaged with your name on the envelope. All the proofs will be in colour although b&w and sepiatone are an option for any pose.
2. How about music? Instruments - guitar, sax, trumpet, cello, etc. 3. Funky hats or jackets? 4. Anything else you can come up with! - Car, trauck, Quad, etc. You should feel comfortable in and with what you wear. Remember, bold patterns, bright stripes or plaids, and large polka dots usually do not photograph well. These are very distracting and will direct the viewers' attention to your clothing instead of to your facial expression. You'll definitely look best in solid colours. Medium to dark tone are best. And finally ...Keep it simple. Dress from head to toe (even if we don't photograph you full-length). Guys - give yourself at least a week after a haircut to let it 'fill in'. A close shave before your sitting is a must. Do NOT wash your hair the morning of your sitting. The 'frizzies' do not photograph well. Gals - wear your hair the way you normally do. This is NOT the time to experiment with new hair styles although styling your hair is essentail for a beautiful portrait. Wear about the same make-up as you would for a night out. Any excess is quickly noticeable on your portraits. Take special care with your eye makeup - if your eyes look beautiful, so will your portraits! Cost
Option #2 - cap & gown and casuals = $25 * Please bring the sitting fee at the time of your sessionCommencement 2010This event is open to family and friends of Grade 12 students
