Update: October 14, 2008 - Christian High Schools Championships @ King's
The weather was beautiful, but the course was muddy as the Knights raced hard and captured the team title at the Annual Christian School's Meet. Runners had to race through a corn field and surge up a steep hill near the end of the course but the athletes from Abby Christian were up to the challenge. ACS runners took first place in four of the six divisions at the meet and the depth of talent was not matched by any other school as the Knights won the event by a wide margin. Jeremy Van Woerden finished first, Jordan Tipton second, and Arron Griffioen fourth in the senior boys race. Brayden Kampman won the junior boys race while Mitch Styba finished third. In the junior girls race Janelle Hay won by a comfortable margin and Jordyn Dyck finished third.
Next Race is the Elgin Classic on October 20 @ Crescent Park
