Welcome to the Middle School!
In partnering with Christian parents, our aim is to enhance and enrich the learning that children are already engaged in at home and in other areas of their lives. We seek to provide opportunities for students to explore and experience a wide variety of learning activities.
At ACMS teachers are committed to an exploratory curriculum. While there are core skills and content that everyone needs to learn, students will often have choices about how to present their learning and what they want to focus on. As well, we have short exploratory courses where students can find out what they like to do and what they are good at.
Students at ACMS are busy in many different ways. We have a fun, exciting intramural program that keeps everyone fit and active. Many of our students also participate in athletics - cross country, volleyball, basketball and track and field. If the arts are more appealing, students can join the praise band, choir, or book club.
All students at ACMS also participate in service. There are service projects within the school and out in the broader community. We have a student spirit team that plans events for the whole school.
Whatever students are involved in, it is our aim at ACMS to help them find their place as a child of God in this world. We want students to be able to

- discover and develop their abilities and gifts,
- serve God and neighbour, as well as take care of God's creation.
