ACS - ELEMENTARY School VICE PRINCIPAL

Abbotsford Christian School, located in the Fraser Valley, is seeking a vice principal for its Elementary School Campus.  The successful candidate will work as part of the elementary school admin team serving 420 students and 48 staff members in grades Pre-K - 5.  This candidate will have a strong commitment to Christian education, an understanding of the unique needs of elementary school children, ability to work well in a collaborative setting and strong organizational skills.  This candidate will also be able to provide innovative leadership to support and enhance learning, including leadership in the use of technology. Skills in student care and discipline are also desirable. This person will be an experienced teacher who will have a 40% assignment in administration combined with a 60% classroom position.

Secondary Principal 

We are currently accepting resumes for the position of Secondary Principal to commence August 2011.  At ACS, the Principals provide visionary leadership in the school community and are responsible for all operations of their respective campuses. Their primary focus is the improvement of instruction in harmony with the goals of Christian education and the Mission of ACS.  
Specific qualifications include:

Master's degree in education an asset 5-10 years of teaching experience Must hold or be eligible for a valid BC Teaching Certificate Administrative leadership experience
