Abbotsford Christian School began in 1953 with 75 students in grades one to eight. Today, approximately 1050 students from preschool to grade 12 attend ACS at three campuses on two sites, and are taught by fully qualified BC government certified teachers.

What can you expect at ACS? Well, of course, we really want you to come by for a tour, but until then, we can tell you that you will be impressed by all our campuses and the well-maintained, attractive buildings. All campuses are on Abbotsford's fast-growing east side and are conveniently accessed by virtually all of Abbotsford and Mission.

More important, you will be delighted with the welcoming atmosphere. You will find ACS to be a friendly place with plenty of opportunities for your children to quickly get to know their classmates. Warm, caring Christian teachers take a real interest in all students, especially those who are new to the school.

Abbotsford Christian School is a member of several umbrella organizations which provide us with resources and the opportunity to work with other Christian and Independent schools.

The Society of Christian Schools in British Columbia(SCSBC) provides opportunities for Curriculum Development, coordination of Financial Stewardship issues and International Student arrangements.

Principals and Vice-Principals have opportunity to network with other Christian Principals through membership in the Christian Principals Association of British Columbia (CPABC).

Abbotsford Christian School teachers are BCCT certified and also belong to the Christian Teachers Association of British Columbia (CTABC).

Christian Schools International (CSI) advances Christian education and supports Christian schools with publications, employee benefit programs, and leadership development opportunities.

Contact with government and funding issues are primarily coordinated through the Federation of Independent School Associations (FISA).
